Our Facility
Welcome
Welcome
Southern Arizona Veterinary Oncology was remodeled in 2021; we are proud to invite you to our new and improved hospital. The expansion was necessary to facilitate the addition of two board-certified veterinary oncologists, Dr. Wood and Dr. Duckett. As we are currently the only veterinary oncology practice serving Southern Arizona, we are thrilled to be able to expand our services and treat more pets with cancer.
The LINAC, or Linear Accelerator, is used in radiation treatment by our board-certified radiation oncologist, Dr. Klein.
Xray Room. Xray images are used to evaluate primary tumors or spread of cancer.
Lobby. We look forward to serving you. We see patients by appointment only.
Chemo Prep Room. Our experienced technicians work closely with the veterinary oncologist to prepare and administer chemotherapy, taking many precautions to keep the patient and technician safe.
Exam Room: After thorough examination of your pet, a board-certified veterinary oncologist will discuss with you the prognosis and options for treating your pet’s disease.
Computed tomography, or CT machines are used in staging to determine if and how the cancerous site has metastasized (spread).
Our in-house laboratory allows us to easily and quickly evaluate a patient’s disease and overall health.
